Well, the advantage of amputation over having them bound is that being bound RESTRICTS possible movement only for as long as they’re bound, whereas amputation PERMANENTLY REDUCES possible movement, however, I would’ve left them with 1-3 thirds of their upper arms to allow them some mobility of their own, but I’m not at the point of loneliness which would actually do something like this, yet…
